About us

F1 Plumbing & Heating was set up by John Burn back in 2010.

John left school at 16 to work for the family plumbing and heating firm where he successfully completed a 3 year plumbing and heating apprenticeship. 

He completed his Gas Safe training and has been working within the industry for over 20 years. 

The first 9 years in the industry was spent working for his father where he soon progressed to running the plumbing and heating side of the business as it quickly expanded in to different sectors of construction. 

In 2010, due to his own family commitments, John decided to create his very own company and F1 Plumbing & Heating was born.  John has gained a wide variety of skills throughout his life and continues to attend training courses to ensure he remains up to date with new technologies within the industry; recently completing the latest renewable energy course enabling F1 Plumbing and Heating to now offer heat pump servicing and maintenance.
